We test for foxes, dogs and wolves. This is usually to exclude the possibility of other species as part of the exotic species tests.

Sample types

Samples are usually scat, although hair or bones also work. Swabs of predated carcasses are also possible. If you need a swabbing kit contact us at bats@warwick.ac.uk. It is best to send samples in small plastic tubes in a jiffy back to the address shown on the left.

Price rates

Most established clients utilize a 'tab' system in which we bill them after a number of samples have been sent. Tab rates are lower than non tab rates because of the administrative economy. We offer a standard service in which results will normally be returned by email within a two week period, and a premium service in which we endeavor to return results within 7 working days. Note prices below do not include VAT.

Rate                                      Price per sample

Standard tab rate                                  £60

Premium tab rate                                  £65

Non tab standard single sample           £70

Non tab standard multiple samples     £65

Non tab premium single sample           £80
